DIRECTOR - JAN PRINS, Ph.D.
- Founder and Director of Swim Hawaii, "Dr. Jan" has been involved with swimming since 1967.
- Associate Professor & Director, Aquatic Research Laboratory, University of Hawaii, Manoa.
- Head Assistant Coach at Indiana University, 1975-1978 under the legendary Doc Counsilman.
- Head Varsity Men's Coach at the University of Hawaii. 1978-1987 - During his tenure, Hawaii placed in the top 10 at the U.S. Nationals and top 20 at NCAA Division I Championships.

CHUCK RIGGS
- Chuck Riggs has been coaching since 1966. He is currently an assistant coach on the U.H. Varsity Swimming Coaching Staff. Prior to his retirement from teaching and coaching, Chuck was the Head Coach of the Riverside Aquatics and the Redlands Swim Team, in Southern California. He has produced many high school “All Americans” as well as numerous national level swimmers. He is best known for coaching former World Record holder Sippy Woodhead.
DARIN MIYASHIRO
- Darin has been associated with Swim Hawaii for the past 8 years. His responsibilities include videotaping of swimmers, both above- and underwater, video editing and production for use in both research and publicizing the program.
